Gastric Complex dietary supplement was designed by naturopathic physicians to provide soothing relief for the stomach lining and the gastrointestinal tract. The formula combines the demulcent herbs, marshmallow and slippery elm, with acid-stable digestive enzymes to aid in the healthy digestion and assimilation of nutrients. Gamma-oryzanol and a special extract of licorice root, known as deglycyrrhizinated licorice or DGL, are also included to support healthy gastric mucosa.
Gastric Complex is specifically formulated without protein-digesting enzymes (i.e., proteases) and is, therefore, ideal for individuals who are concerned with occasional heartburn and acid indigestion. Taken with meals, or between meals as needed, Gastric Complex provides relief of occasional heartburn, stomach upset, and indigestion.
