Most people can use a vitamin every day. Some can use two or three. Depending on need there are formulas for men and women, as well as for different times in life. The children formulas have grown in number and the quality and attention to sweeteners and preservatives has become more intense.
As with vitamins, people are often deficient in certain minerals, which can lead to health problems immediately and later in life. Most major farming does not replace minerals in the course of growing our fruits and vegetables, so the need for supplemental minerals also grows. From leg cramps, to dehydration, to blood pressure, minerals can help reduce severity when a deficiency is corrected.
